Let me start this off with ‘Wow!’. I could not put this one down! This book has many twists and turns that lead you to find out the truth about what happened to Cara’s boyfriend Jesse who tragically passes away in an accident many years earlier. It also shows what parents will do for their children in an attempt to protect them even if it’s at the expense of someone else.

The other thing that stood out to me was how traumatic experiences from your past can negatively affect your future if you don’t find a way to deal with them.  I believe therapy is such an amazing tool to help someone with their grief or to help them remember and resolve issues they may have forgotten or didn’t know they had.

This poor family was ripped apart for years all due to one night and one person’s bad choices. You never know what people are capable of and what they will do to if they feel threatened or feel that you wronged them in some way. I feel terrible for both Cara and Anna for very different reasons: Cara because she feels like she has to compete with her sister and seems to think everyone is out to get her; Anna because the tragic circumstances surrounding the accident and information withheld from her causes her to ruin her life.

I would definitely recommend this took to anyone who loves a page turner and a myster Read this book and let me know what you think!
