This story was SO good! When a child goes missing and Veronica’s husband, Johnny, finds him she is quickly overwhelmed by the media attention that Johnny is receiving. While trying to navigate the quick fame and raising her daughter amidst the chaos she starts to notice that something doesn’t feel right about the way that Johnny found the missing boy.

She notices that Johnny’s behavior is troubling and starts to confide in his best friend. While trying to find out the truth Veronica realizes that she may have bit off more than she could chew and that she is in grave danger the closer she gets to the truth. This book was pretty suspenseful and the situations she finds herself in are downright terrifying. The ending was not what I expected and I love when there is a twist in a story.
