Another fun Pinterest project done! My husband and I love doing these little projects in order to spend some time together and make something fun for the backyard. We are always in need of more seating for our family BBQ’s so after some searching on what we could make we decided on a bench.

This project was incredibly easy. We purchased fourteen cinder blocks along with six 4 inch x 4 inch x 8 foot pieces of wood. We had the friendly employees of Home Depot cut them down to six feet for us since they were a little too long. I didn’t want the normal color of the cinder blocks so we purchased silver paint for the cinder blocks to make them look nicer. We then purchased a dark wood stain for the wood.

Once we got home and the cinder blocks were painted we used cement glue to hold the blocks together. While these were drying we sanded down and stained the wood. After letting everything dry overnight we slid the wood into the cinder blocks and the bench was complete. I went on Amazon and found a cushion and some cute pillows and now we have the cutest bench for our friends and family to enjoy. This project was extremely easy and I love the end result.
