I loved all the characters and the story line in this book. I was sucked in immediately from the beginning and never tired of this story. This book has it all: close friendships, six degrees of separation and a suspicious death. There are four main female characters that the story is focused on: Emma, Marley, Clementine and Harriet. It begins when the girls are planning on attending their high school reunion and Emma accidentally sends a private email meant for Marley to the entire group. This sets a lot of things in motion and this is where the book takes off.

Emma leaves work early after sending the embarrassing email and finds her husband is having an affair with their cleaning lady. Marley starts a fling with a man from work and is unaware that he is related to two of the other main characters.. Harriet is thrown into school drama with her youngest daughter who gets in trouble for having drugs while trying to navigate a separation with her husband and handling her lucrative law career. Clementine comes home to find so many things have changed while she’s been away becoming a famous celebrity artist. With all this they are still trying to find out what happened to one of their schoolmates and friends who died twenty-five years earlier. This story is full of drama, crazy life circumstances and I appreciated the way the author tied all the characters together.

Life can be so messy and this book touched on some of the terrible and wonderful things that can happen to us. I would definitely recommend having a read for yourself.. If you are interested in purchasing Good Little Liars:
