The story of Georgia Durante is an interesting one. She was a model, stunt driver and mafia wife. In 1969 she modeled for Coca-Cola, Las Vegas Sahara Hotel, Mattel toys, Smirnoff Vodka, Lipton tea and more. She was also on the cover of American Woman Motor Sports. She doubled for celebrities like Cindy Crawford and Priscilla Presley.
Georgia was born in the Little Italy area of Rochester, New York. She took her first model test when she was twelve years old and became well known in the modeling world. She soon met some dangerous men and very quickly got caught up in their world. She officially joined the mafia life through her marriage to Joe Lamendola and things went south for her very quickly. Soon after their marriage he started isolating her from everyone she knew, went into jealous fits of rage if she spoke to any other man and physically abused her. When she finally decides to leave Joe she has to plan her escape to protect herself and her daughter.
