This was such a unique story and concept and I loved every minute of it! Rebecca meets a man who she believes is her savior during one of the most challenging times in her life. Her mother passes away from cancer and in her vulnerable state she doesn’t see any of the warning signs. She soon finds herself in a very abusive and dangerous relationship that ends in murder. As she is the only witness to the murder she decides to testify against her fiance and put him in prison. After this she is able to move on with her life and try to live normally.

Ten years later Solomon is out of prison and wants his revenge. He finally locates Rebecca and pulls her into a game that you know will end badly. He wants her to be the only witness to 10 crimes; one for each year he was in prison. You find out more information about the horrible things that Rebecca had to endure during her relationship with Solomon all those years ago. By the end of the book you learn the truth about the murder that Solomon was accused of and you will be surprised by the twist. It’s amazing what people will do to protect their family.
